Downtown Power Outage Impacting Traffic in Novato 
The Novato Police Department would like to advise our community members of a power outage in Downtown Novato impacting several areas of our city. The outage has impacted traffic lights, causing delays for some motorists during the morning commute. Please be advised of potential delays when traveling through the City.
During a power outage, traffic signals may convert to a flashing red light or lose power and go dark, and street lights could turn off. Motorists should treat flashing red signal lights as an all-way stop and treat every entrance to an intersection as a stop sign.
