INCIDENT: P.C. 245(a)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon and P.C. 243(E)(1)- Battery on a Spouse/Cohabitant
LOCATION: 149600 block of Del Rey, Big River, CA
SUSPECT(S): Heather Reid, 47-Years-Old, Resident of Big River, CA
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, November 29, 2023, at approximately 8:23 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Sheriff's Station responded to the 149600 block of Del Rey reference a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, it was determined the suspect, Heather Reid, assaulted the victim during an altercation at their residence and fled the scene.
Heather Reid was contacted a short time later at a friend's house, and was arrested without incident. Reid was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking and remains in the custody of the San Bernardion County Sheriff's Department in lieu of $65,000.00 bail, awaiting a court hearing.
