Newark Public Safety Director Fritz G. Fragé reports that an arrest warrant has been issued for Shavani Robinson, 35, of Newark, in connection with an aggravated assault that occurred on November 8, 2023.
At approximately 2 p.m., the victim was sitting in a vehicle at an Auto Zone, located in the 200 block of Springfield Avenue. Robinson and another woman were captured on surveillance video opening the car door and dragging the victim from the vehicle. The victim was thrown to the ground, where Robinson punched the victim multiple times. Robinson is 5'7," weighs 200 pounds, and has brown eyes, black hair, and a dark complexion.
