INCIDENT: P.C. 245(A)(1) - Assault with a Deadly Weapon
LOCATION: 1000 Block of Lillyhill Drive, Needles, CA 92363
SUSPECT(S): William Thompson, 34-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
VICTIM(S): Michael Hood, 48-years-old, Resident of Needles, CA
SUMMARY: On Thursday, November 30, 2023, at approximately 10:00 p.m., deputies from the Colorado River Station / Needles Police Department were dispatched to the 1000 block of Lillyhill Drive in reference to a stabbing. During the course of the investigation, deputies identified the suspect as William Thompson. Thompson stabbed his roommate Michael Hood in his left thigh during an altercation. Hood was airlifted to Sunrise Hospital located in Las Vegas, Nevada where he was treated for non life threatening injuries. Hood positively identified Thompson as the person who assualted him. Thompson fled the scene before deputies arrived and remains at large.
