Janesville Man Arrested for Possession of Child Pornography 
On 11-30-2023 the Janesville Police Department SWAT Team served a warrant in the 1300 block of MacArthur Dr. The Janesville Police Department received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. An investigation identified Timothy Eastman as the possible suspect possessing images of child pornography. Eastman was taken into custody without issue. During the search of the home, it was discovered Eastman had a gun under his pillow. Also, other evidence of the crime was recovered. Eastman was held at the Rock County Jail.
The Janesville Police Department would like to thank the Department of Criminal Investigation (DCI) for assisting in the investigation; the Walworth County Sheriff's Office for providing an armored rescue vehicle, two SWAT officers, and a TEMS Medic; and the Janesville Fire Department for providing two additional TEMS medics and a standby ambulance for this operation.
