Activity for December 1-3, 2023:
December 1, 2023:
- Officers responded to the 300 block of West Morrell Street for a disorderly subject. A 43-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant. The female also received a citation for resisting and obstructing.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1100 block of West Argyle Street for a shoplifter who assaulted store employees. A 49-year-old male was arrested for unarmed robbery.
- Officer Vernier responded to the 400 block of McKinley Street for a personal welfare check.
- Sergeant Kruso made contact with an injured subject near South Brown Street and Carlton Boulevard. The 45-year-old male subject was transported to the hospital.
- Officers were dispatched to North Elm Avenue and Leroy Street for a suspicious situation.
December 2, 2023:
- Officer Vernier responded to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject.
- Officers assisted JFD with a fire near East Washington Avenue and South Cooper Street.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 1200 block of Maple Avenue. A 37-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to First Street and Union Street for a disorderly subject. JCYC refused to lodge the 17-year-old male subject. Charges will be sought on the male for minor in possession of tobacco; 2 counts of assault on a police officer; and resisting and obstructing.
- Officer Fugate conducted a traffic stop in the area of Barberry Drive and Laurel Lane. A 44-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
December 3, 2023:
- Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of South Gorham Street for a suspicious subject in the area. A 50-year-old male was arrested on several outstanding warrants.
- Officer Brooker responded to Van Buren Street and North Blackstone Street for a weapons complaint.
- Officer Morse was dispatched to the 300 block of Steward Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 33-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
