Heavy rain and gusty winds Sunday afternoon through Monday morning 
The North Brunswick Office of Emergency Management is following a storm forecasted to affect the area Sunday afternoon into Monday morning, which is expected to bring heavy rain and gusty winds.
Downpours leading to 1.5-2.5"+ of rain through Sunday night can result in poor drainage/roadway flooding. Showers tapers off Monday morning, giving way to cooler and drier conditions thereafter.
Gusty winds are also possible which could result in downed trees and power lines, with scattered power outages.
Unsecured holiday decorations pose a risk during storms, as strong winds can turn outdoor holiday decorations into projectiles, endangering people, property and even your power. Residents are urged to secure holiday decorations over the weekend.
