Cloquet Police Investigating Shooting Incident on 14th Street.
CLOQUET, MN – December 8, 2023 – On December 7, 2023, the Cloquet Police Department received a report of a residence struck by bullets in the ten block of 14th Street in the City of Cloquet. The incident is believed to have occurred on the evening of December 6, 2023.
Upon the arrival of officers at the scene, they discovered several bullet casings and at least one bullet hole penetrating the residence. Thankfully, no injuries were reported in connection with the incident. The Cloquet Police Department is actively investigating the case, with officers and investigators working diligently to gather information and resolve the situation.
The preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, and there is no immediate threat to the public. Chief Derek Randall assures residents that the department is taking all necessary steps to ensure community safety.
