Special Weather Statement until 09:00PM Monday 
Gusty northerly winds will be the theme across the Alaska Peninsula over the next several days. Sustained winds are forecast on the order of 30 to 40 mph with potential gusts up to 50 mph, especially out of the bays and passes. Ocean effect snow showers will frequent the peninsula. Cold Bay and King Cove are expected to see periods of blowing snow and reduced visibility through early next week. A stronger round of northerly winds arrive late Tuesday into Wednesday.
