Outdoor Emergency Warning Siren Test Today at 12p 
The City of Idalou will test the Emergency Warning System on December 11, 2023 at 12:00 PM. The testing will include the emergency warning sirens in the City. Testing will be conducted if weather conditions permit.
Note: If maintenance is necessary, there may be a need to perform repeated activation of the Emergency Warning System to troubleshoot and/or repair any system problems.
IN THE EVENT THAT THERE IS A FAILURE IN THE EMERGENCY WARNING SYSTEM, THE IDALOU POLICE AND FIRE DEPARTMENTS WILL BE DRIVING AROUND THE CITY SOUNDING THEIR SIRENS ON HIGH-LOW.

The City of Idalou will begin testing the Emergency Warning System monthly on the second Monday of each month at 12:00 p.m. This will allow the city proper time to fix any unforeseen problems.
