Homicide Investigators Are Releasing Photos of a Suspect in the Murder of a Local Man 
On Sunday, December 10, 2023, at approximately 6:15 p.m., 28-year-old Bryson Walton exited the Primo’s Store at 14180 State Highway 249 N and began walking to his car.
It appears that Walton engaged the suspect in a verbal exchange on the sidewalk in front of the store. He continued walking to his vehicle, and the suspect followed along while speaking to Walton.
As Walton began to enter the driver’s side of the car, the suspect produced a handgun and shot into the vehicle, striking him. EMS was called, but despite life-saving measures, he died on the scene.
Investigators believe the suspect is a black male, approximately 25 years of age, with twists or braids as his hairstyle.
