* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches possible for the towns of Haines and Skagway increasing to up to 24 inches along the Haines Highway and Klondike Highway.

* WHERE...Municipality of Skagway and Haines, including the Haines and Klondike Highways.

* WHEN...From late Wednesday night through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult and is discouraged.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A period of snow is likely for the towns of Haines and Skagway before a changeover to rain near sea level is anticipated by late Thursday morning or early Thursday afternoon. Snow will continue along the Haines and Klondike Highways for the duration of the event. The greatest snow totals will be along the Highways.
