Activity for December 7, 2023:
- Officer Marcum responded to the 500 block of Steward Avenue for a domestic dispute. A 39-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault, 2nd offense.
- Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of Blair Park Drive for a personal welfare check. A 21-year-old male was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and several outstanding warrants.
- Officers responded to the 1000 block of South Jackson Street for a breaking and entering report. The investigation is ongoing.
- Officer Morse was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 100 block of North Higby Street. A 31-year-old female was transported to the hospital. Charges will be sought on the female for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to Woodbridge Street and West Prospect Street for a domestic situation. Officer Morse observed a vehicle leaving the area at a high rate of speed, and pursued the vehicle until the driver stopped at Woodsum Street and West South Street. The 33-year-old male driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding; driving while intoxicated; possession of a firearm while intoxicated; and domestic assault. Charges will be sought on a 29-year-old female for carrying a concealed weapon, and assaulting a police officer.
- Sergeant Burkart and Officer Simon made contact with a subject near South Elm Avenue and East Michigan Avenue. Possession of narcotics charges will be sought on a 23-year-old female.
