INCIDENT: Armed Robbery

SUSPECT(S): 15-year-old male resident of Grand Terrace

SUMMARY: On Friday, December 8, 2023, deputies assigned to the Central Station responded to an armed robbery that occurred at a Chevron Gas Station in Grand Terrace. The suspect, a male juvenile, pointed a knife at the clerk and demanded all the money. The suspect grabbed $280 of cash from the cash register and fled the location on foot. Deputies reviewed surveillance video of the incident and obtained a description of the suspect.
On Wednesday, December 13, around midnight, deputies located a juvenile subject near the incident location who matched the suspect description. Deputies confirmed the juvenile was the suspect who committed the robbery and located the knife used in the robbery in his possession.
The juvenile was booked into the San Bernardino County Juvenile Hall for PC 211, Armed Robbery, where he will await arraignment.
