Expanded Days/Hours at the Ripon Recycling Center! 
Starting Saturday, December 16, 2023, the Ripon Recycling Center will have new expanded operating days and hours according to the following schedule:
Monday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Tuesday: 10:00 am to 12:00 pm & 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Wednesday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Thursday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Friday: 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
Saturday: 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Sunday: 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm
The Recycling Center will be closed on December 24th & 25th as well as January 1st for the Christmas Holiday and New Year’s Day. Additionally, the Recycling Center will be closed on all other major holidays.
All revenue generated at the Ripon Recycling Center goes to the students at Ripon Unified Schools. Also, diverting these recyclables out of your black can reduces the amount of material that is hauled and processed helping to keep garbage rates affordable.
The following are recyclables that are accepted at this time:
Cardboard, must be clean and free of trash
- TVs & Screens, must be loaded directly into container
- Plastics
- Glass
- Mixed Paper
- Newspaper
- Styrofoam
- CRV (Aluminum Cans and Plastic Bottles)
Illegally dumping items at the Recycling Center outside of the posted hours of operation will result in a citation for violating the Ripon Municipal Code and will include a minimum fine of $1,000 up to a maximum of $10,000.
