12/14/23: Earlier this afternoon, Fremont Police Officers responded to a medical emergency at the American High School campus. One student suffered non-life-threatening injuries. The school was temporarily placed in a lockdown from 1:30 p.m. to 1:55 p.m. The lockdown has been lifted, and no threats exist to the students on campus or the general community. This incident remains under active investigation. Please expect police activity in the area for the next several hours.
