Update: Green Bay Police Investigate Disturbance on Day Street; Two People Surrendered, One Arrested

The Green Bay Police Department is investigating a disturbance at a residence in the 1200 block of Day Street that led to two people surrendering without further incident and one arrest.
 
On Thursday, December 14, 2023, officers were dispatched around 11:30 a.m. for a reported argument with the presence of a firearm. Within 45 minutes SWAT and the Crisis Negotiation Team arrived on scene to assist in contacting those inside of the home. Then, just before 2:00 p.m., two people had exited and were taken into custody for questioning. A 31-year-old Green Bay man was arrested, and police will be referring charges to the Brown County District Attorney’s Office on that suspect. Meanwhile, the other person who had surrendered was released from custody.
 
All streets have reopened following a temporary closure due to the incident.
 
The investigation remains active. No further details will be shared at this time.
