Wilmington Police arrest male and female on drug charges following investigation:
Wilmington Police have arrested a male and female on drug charges following an investigation.
Beginning in November, members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division have been conducting an investigation into illegal drug sales in the 400 block of Bradford Street. On December 13, at approximately 11:54 a.m., police executed a search warrant in that block and took 19-year-old Michael Dennis and 18-year-old Kyrye Pinkett into custody without incident. Police recovered a stolen .45 caliber handgun, .518 grams of fentanyl, 3 grams of marijuana, $654, and drug paraphernalia.
Michael Dennis has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Possession of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited
- Receiving a Stolen Firearm
- Tampering with Physical Evidence
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- Possession of Marijuana
Kyrye Pinkett has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
- Endangering the Welfare of a Child
- Resisting Arrest
- Hindering Prosecution
