Middle Police open new Substation in Rio Grande (time correction) 
On December 15th, 2023, Middle Township Police Chief Jennifer Pooler announced the upcoming opening of the new Rio Grande Police Substation. The new substation is located at the County Commons, 3801 Route 9 S, Unit 7, Rio Grande, New Jersey next to the Cape Square Entertainment Center and Rent-A-Center. There is signage on the window alerting the public to the location. A larger sign will be mounted on the building in the near future. A Grand Opening Celebration will be held on December 22, 2023 at 10 am.
