Cass County Sheriff Richard J. Behnke reports that at approximately 11:55pm on 12/15/2023, his Deputies were dispatched to a one-vehicle injury crash on M-62 near Cherry Grove St in La Grange Township. 30 year-old Hastings resident Savanna Holder was traveling northbound on M-62 before leaving the roadway and crashing into a tree. Holder was transported to Borgess Lee for her non-life-threatening injuries. Alcohol and drugs do not appear to be a factor. Assisting agencies were Dowagiac PD and SMCAS Ambulance. The incident remains under investigation.
