Officers conducted a traffic stop for vehicle code violations. A loaded handgun was located next to three toddlers in the vehicle. ARRESTED: Lavell Moore, 25, for weapon charges and child endangerment.
2. Resisting Arrest (0110) 100 Block of West Fremont Street, Civic District
Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a fight in progress. Officers encountered the suspect, who was in a physical altercation and refused to obey the officer’s commands. An officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Xavier Bettis, 36, for battery, public intoxication, and resisting arrest.
