Attempted Residential Burglary - Hory Street 
On December 17th 2023, Patrol Units responded to a Hory Street address on the report of an attempted residential burglary.
At approximately 4:55 AM, a suspect wearing all grey clothing tried to force open the front door to a Hory Street residence. After the victim's dog began barking, the suspect fled prior to gaining access to the residence. It should be noted that there was a BMW parked on the victim's property at the time of this burglary attempt.
Residents are encouraged to continue being vigilant in locking not only their vehicles, but also ensuring that their homes are secured during overnight hours. Also, check that your security cameras are operational.
