Steady rain is expected this the evening with increasing downpours / heavy rain overnight. The heaviest rain looks to fall after midnight through late Monday morning. When all is said and done, 2.5 - 4.0" of rain is expected. This will lead to not only urbanized / poor drainage flooding, but also issues on creeks and rivers. Locally significant flooding will also occur including some road closures during the Monday AM rush hour. In addition, gusty 35 - 45 mph winds and saturated grounds can down a few trees / powerlines. Rain will taper off early-mid Monday afternoon, though swollen streams and rivers will persist. Please follow your local weather services for additional details.
