Advisory: Prepare for heavy rain 🌧️,  flooding 💧, and strong winds 💨 Sunday into Monday across the state. 
 
The Denville Office of Emergency Management continues to monitor the developing weather forecast for tonight into tomorrow morning. 
Currently the National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for our area with the potential of 3+ inches of rain. Residents who live in flood prone areas should be aware of the possibility for flooding, monitor rising water levels, and be prepared to take necessary action should flooding occur. As a result of the forecasted high winds for this evening residents are also urged to secure any outdoor decorations as well. 

Any residents in need of assistance to safely leave thier homes should contact the Denville Police if needed.  Do not drive through flooded roads and prepare for road closures for the Monday morning commute. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
