Avoid flood-prone areas
The Office of Emergency Management reminds residents to avoid flood-prone areas. Intense rainfall of greater than 0.8 inch per hour could result in flooding in low-lying areas. Barricades have been deployed near flood-prone intersections. Do not walk or drive through barricades or flooded areas.    Please report flooded intersections and clogged drain inlets by calling the NHSA Hotline at (866) 689-3970.    Secure loose objects     Hoboken could experience wind gusts of up to 50 mph.    Residents should secure all loose objects outside or bring them inside, especially from balconies. Outdoor tents should be taken down depending on the wind load.    Damaging winds could blow down trees and power lines, resulting in power outages.    Please report power outages and downed wires to PSEG at https://nj.myaccount.pseg.com/myservicepublic/outagepublic.     Overnight Discounted Garage Parking Available Residents with valid resident on-street parking permits are reminded there is discounted parking available from 6 p.m. to 8 a.m. at a rate of $5 per night in Garages B (28 Second St.), D (215 Hudson St.), and Midtown (371 Fourth St.) Discounted garage space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
