Route 9A has multiple closures due to storm related activity. Route 9A is closed Northbound at Route 133 due to flooding. Northbound traffic is being diverted onto Route 133. Route 9A is closed southbound at Route 134, also due to flooding. Route 9A is closed southbound at the Route 9/9A split due to a tree down on the roadway.

New York State Department of Transportation has been called to the scene and is working to resolve these issues but expect delays if you're traveling on Route 9A. Use Route 9 local to avoid diversions but additional volume will likely cause delays there as well.

Consider leaving early to give yourself additional travel time. Drive with caution and watch for standing water.
