Until further notice, please avoid the area of West Englewood Avenue and Jefferson Street. The intersection is closed due to a downed tree.

Use caution traveling this morning. Rain, heavy at times, and areas of urban and poor drainage flooding will be our greatest impact from the storm. We have received two plus inches of rain so far. This will lead to difficult travel this morning. If you must travel, give yourself plenty of extra time and be extra cautious on area roadways for ponding/pooling of water, fallen branches, and downed wires. Do not drive through flood waters, they may be deeper than you think.

A flood warning remains in effect until 7:30 AM. A wind advisory remains in effect until 12:30 PM. Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
