December 15, 2023:

• Officer Debczak made contact with a subject near West Michigan Avenue and North Jackson Street. A 33-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Panther was dispatched to the Jackson Crossing Mall for subjects shoplifting. A 33-year-old female was arrested for multiple conditional bond violations and retail fraud. A 31-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding felony warrant and retail fraud.
• Officer Vernier responded to the 900 block of East Porter Street for a breaking and entering report. Firearms were missing from the residence, and were entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Williams Street for a domestic dispute. A 41-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Sergeant Thoresen and Officer Simon conducted foot patrol downtown.

• Officer Albrecht responded to the 1300 block of Lansing Avenue for a personal welfare check. Charges will be sought on a 36-year-old male for domestic assault, and interfering with a 911 phone call.
• Sergeant Kruso conducted a traffic stop near West Prospect Street and Woodbridge Street. The 42-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated, and several outstanding warrants.
• Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop at East Michigan Avenue and Orange Street. The 24-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Simon and Reserve Officer Simon made contact with a subject in the 1500 block of East Michigan Avenue. A 60-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers were dispatched to a traffic crash in the 700 block of North Blackstone Street. A 23-year-old female and a 21-year-old female were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

• Officers responded to the 300 block of West Michigan Avenue for a personal welfare check on a subject who appeared to be passed out in a vehicle. A 30-year-old male was transported to the hospital after showing signs of an overdose.
• Officer Reasoner was dispatched to a domestic situation in the 100 block of West Robinson Street. An 18-year-old female was arrested for felonious assault.
• Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop near North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and Homewild Avenue. A 27-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Simon responded to the 500 block of North Elm Avenue for a breaking and entering report.
• Officer Reynaga was dispatched to the 300 block of West Franklin Street for a disorderly subject. A 34-year-old female was arrested for resisting and obstructing, and several outstanding warrants.
