Flooding Update: Rte 1 NB Closed From Ridge Rd to Raymond Rd; Blackhorse Ln Closed; Rte 1 Exit at Raymond Rd Closed 
Heavy rains overnight created flash flooding in parts of the township. Although flooding is subsiding, some roadways are still affected.
The South Brunswick Police Department and the Township Office of Emergency Management continue to monitor the situation.
If a roadway is blocked off, do not attempt to pass, and never drive into floodwaters.
As of 11:45 AM the following roads are affected due to flooding -
- ROUTE 1 NORTHBOUND BETWEEN RIDGE ROAD AND RAYMOND ROAD – Roadway is closed due to flooding
- BLACKHORSE LANE BETWEEN HENDERSON ROAD AND PROGRESS ROAD – Roadway is closed due to flooding
- JUGHANDLE FROM ROUTE 1 SOUTH TO RAYMOND ROAD – The jughandle is closed due to flooding
