INCIDENT: HS11378- Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell and HS 11379(A) – Transportation for Sale of Methamphetamine.
LOCATION: Civic Drive/Roy Rogers Drive, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Juan Velazco, 33-year-old, resident of Sinaloa Mexico
SUMMARY:
On Wednesday, December 13, 2023, at approximately 2:42 pm, Deputy Williams and Deputy Duenas conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the area of Civic Drive and Roy Rogers Drive in Victorville for a moving violation.
During the traffic stop, deputies conducted a search of the vehicle and located a box that contained about 50 large individual baggies of suspected methamphetamine. The driver of the vehicle was identified as Juan Velazco, 33-year-old resident of Mexico.
Velazco was arrested and booked at the High Desert Detention Center for HS11378- Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Sell and HS 11379(A) – Transportation for Sale of Methamphetamine. Velazco is being held on a $1,000,000 bail.
