* WHAT...River and small stream flooding caused by recent excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of northeast New Jersey, including the following county, Bergen.

* WHEN...Until 1145 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...River or stream flows remain elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 839 AM EST, Gauge reports from Hackensack River at New Milford indicated minor flooding. Flood waters should recede by this afternoon. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Losen Slofe, Hirshfeld Brook, Overpeck Creek, Hackensack River and Herring Brook. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* AFFECTED AREAS: BERGEN, NJ
