Narrative:
On December 8th, 2023, two Thousand Oaks juveniles and one adult were arrested after attacking two juvenile victims with weapons, including brass knuckles and a hammer.  In the continuance of this investigation, one additional adult was identified as a suspect and arrested on the morning of December 17th, 2023.      
 
On the evening of December 8th, 2023, Thousand Oaks Patrol deputies responded to a call for service in the 500 block of Brossard Drive, regarding two juveniles who were just attacked at this location.  Deputies responded to the scene and located the victims, both of whom suffered severe head injuries.  Two juveniles and one adult were identified as suspects and arrested on this date.      
 
As the investigation continued, Thousand Oaks resident Jason Schreiber was also identified as a suspect in this attack.  On the morning of December 17th, 2023, detectives served a search warrant at Schreiber’s residence in the 1700 block of W. Hillcrest Drive, where Schreiber was arrested on charges of 245(a)(1) PC, Assault with a Deadly Weapon, 186.22 PC, Participation in a Criminal Street Gang, and 272(a)(1) PC, Contributing to the Delinquency of Minors. Evidence was also seized at this location connecting Schreiber to the December 8th attack.  Schrieber was booked into the Ventura County Mail Jail where he remains in custody with a bail amount of $150,000.  Schreiber is scheduled to appear in Ventura County Superior Court for arraignment on December 19th at 1:30pm.
