One Injured in Single Vehicle Crash 
Sheriff Richard J. Behnke, reports that on December 19, 2023 at approximately 1158 hours his office was called to investigate a personal injury crash on Dailey Rd., just south of M 60, in Jefferson Township, Cass County Michigan. Investigation shows that 17-year-old, Dowagiac, MI resident, was traveling north on Dailey Rd. The 17-yo was having a medical emergency, which caused him to lose control, cross the centerline, and then went off the road, striking a tree. The 17-yo was transported to Lakeland Niles hospital for minor injuries sustained in the crash.
The 17-yo was wearing his seatbelt. Alcohol and drugs are not a factor of this crash. This crash remains under investigation
