Update - Fish Fire Impact Area Will move to Green Alert Level at 2 PM Today, December 21
Dear Residents,
Effective 2 PM today, Thursday, December 21, the Fish Fire Impact Area will transition to a Green Alert Level. LA County Public Works has officially lifted the debris flow phase alert following updated forecasts from the National Weather Service.
The latest predictions indicate a significant weather system bypassing the City of Duarte, resulting in less rainfall than initially anticipated. Consequently, parking restrictions and trash can placement related to the Yellow Alert on Mel Canyon Road between Brookridge Road and Fish Canyon Road will be lifted.
Please note the following changes:
Fish Fire Impact Area Alert Level: From Yellow to Green at 2 PM today.
Rain-related parking restrictions and trash can placement on Mel Canyon Road: Lifted.
Regular pickup and drop-off services at Valley View Elementary School (237 Mel Canyon Road): Resumed.
We urge residents to remain vigilant and stay informed about weather conditions. You can access weather resources through the following channels:
National Weather Service (weather.gov)
L.A. County Department of Public Works (dpw.lacounty.gov)
