Simi Valley Police are looking for a Hit and Run Driver who Injured a Pedestrian

On Wednesday, December 20, 2023, between the hours of 8:00 pm – 8:10 pm, the driver of a light blue sedan struck a pedestrian in the area of Cochran Street and Tracy Avenue. The driver fled the scene leaving behind some evidence and a badly injured female.

The female victim was transported to Los Robles Hospital where she is being treated for significant, but non-life threatening injuries.
The sedan is light colored, possibly blue, with possible right front damage.

Collision investigator Eric Cooke will be searching for video footage from cameras in the area to attempt to identify the driver. If you were in the area of the collision or have information about the incident, you may contact Simi Valley Police Department, Officer Cooke at 1-805-583-6185, or leave an anonymous tip through Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or go to their website www.venturacountycrimestoppers.org.

As a reminder, collisions are usually "civil" and can be remedied with information exchanges and insurance information. When someone decides to leave the scene, it is a crime. We urge our drivers to "keep it civil," and always stop to render aid and exchange information when a collision occurs.
