* WHAT...Moderate to heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations of 8 to 16 inches with locally higher amounts of 18 or more inches possible on south-facing slopes. The heaviest snow will fall this evening and overnight with rates exceeding 2 inches per hour at times.

* WHERE...Southwest San Juan Mountains.

* WHEN...From 5 PM this afternoon to 5 AM MST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult. A detailed map of the snowfall can be found at: www.weather.gov/gjt/winter.
