1. Train vs Pedestrian Fatality (Delayed) Holiday Drive and Camanche Lane, Lakeview District

On 12/20/23, the decedent, 54, was in the listed area when he was struck by a train. The decedent was transported to an area hospital for treatment, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

2.Assault with a Deadly Weapon on an Officer (1414) 1400 Block of South Airport Way, Park District

Officers located the suspect vehicle wanted for evading and initiated a traffic stop. The suspect reversed his vehicle and rammed into the officer’s patrol vehicle. The suspect fled, leading officers on a pursuit. Officers forced the vehicle to stop and disabled the suspect vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Christopher Martinez, 19, for assault with a deadly weapon on an officer, vandalism, evading, and traffic charges.

3. Attempted Robbery (1700) Center Street and Fremont Street, Civic District

The male victim, 56, was in the area when the armed suspects approached and began assaulting him, demanding his property. The suspects fled the area after the assault. SUSPECTS: One Black male adult and two Hispanic male adults.

4. Resisting Arrest (1907) 9500 Block of Bancroft Way, Bear Creek District

Officers responded to the listed area on a report of a disturbance. Officers contacted the suspect, who refused to obey to the officers’ commands. An officer deployed his taser to take the suspect into custody. ARRESTED: Delcon Andrews Jr., 31, for resisting arrest and violation of a restraining order.

5. Robbery (2136) 700 Block of East Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Boulevard, Seaport District

The male victim, 22, was working in the area when the suspects approached and tried to steal property. The victim intervened and was assaulted by the suspects. The suspects fled with business merchandise. SUSPECTS: One White male adult and one Hispanic male adult.

6. Weapons Arrest (2308) 300 Block of Berkshire Lane, Valley Oak District

Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop on a vehicle for observed traffic violations. The driver exited the vehicle and fled on foot, but was apprehended soon after. A search of the suspect vehicle revealed a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Dante Gladney, 29, for weapon-related charges and resisting arrest.

7. Armed Robbery (0010) 700 Block of West Charter Way, Seaport District

The male victim, 36, was working in the area when three armed suspects entered the business and demanded property. The suspects took property and fled from the location. SUSPECTS: Two Black male adults and one White male adult.
