Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM

* WHAT...Snow. Accumulations of 4 to 8 inches with up to 12 inches at higher elevations and near the foothills. Winds gusting to 30 mph. Rain is possible.

* WHERE...Anchorage.

* WHEN...Until noon AKST Sunday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...A strong area of low pressure moving into the Susitna Valley from the Kenai Peninsula will bring a combination of moderate winds and snow to the Anchorage Bowl tonight through Sunday morning. Expect gusty northerly winds tonight followed by gusty southerly winds Sunday morning as the low moves north. Gusty winds may move around the recently fallen snow. There remains a low end chance (20%) that some of this precipitation will fall as rain briefly. Snow amounts will be lower if rain does mix in
