* WHAT...Snow and heavy rain. Additional snow accumulations of up to 8 inches followed by heavy rain. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph.
* WHERE...Girdwood.
* WHEN...Until 9 AM AKST Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Rain on snow covered roadways will cause hazardous travel and ponding.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Bands of moderate to heavy snow will move through Portage Valley and Girdwood Saturday night through early Sunday morning. Snowfall rates during this time may approach 2 to 3 inches per hour. Visibility will be significantly reduced during periods of heavy snowfall.
* AFFECTED AREAS: EAST TURNAGAIN ARM
