Two Riverside Men Barricade Themselves in Stolen Vehicle After Leading Rancho Cucamonga Deputies in Pursuit

SUSPECT(S): Tristan Althizer, 28-year-old-male from Riverside and Ryan Archuleta Dunbar, 36-year-old-male from Riverside
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On December 24, 2023, at 1:26 AM, Rancho Cucamonga patrol deputies located a stolen motorhome traveling through the city. Deputies initiated a traffic stop, however, the driver of the motorhome refused to yield, and a pursuit ensued.
During the pursuit, the driver attempted to ram his vehicle into several patrol units and drove his vehicle in reverse. The driver also drove the wrong way on the streets until he ran the vehicle upon a central median at Banyan and Haven Avenue. The suspects barricaded themselves in the motorhome.
Sheriff's Specialized Enforcement Division responded and assumed the investigation. Both suspects were taken into custody. No deputies were injured.
