The male victim, 45, was working at a business when the armed suspect entered and demanded property. The suspect stole property and fled the location. SUSPECT: Asian male adult.

Officers investigated a family disturbance complaint and attempted to arrest the suspect for battery and vandalism. The suspect resisted arrest and was taken into custody after a brief struggle. ARRESTED: Nicholas Hernandez, 27, for felony vandalism, resisting arrest and battery.

The victim, 23, was driving in the area when he heard gunshots and later found his vehicle had been struck. The victim was uninjured, and there is no suspect information.
