December 21, 2023:

• Officer Stallworth responded to the 500 block of Wildwood Avenue for a threats report.
• Officers were dispatched to the Courthouse for a warrant pick-up. A 21-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officers responded to the 400 block of North Van Dorn Street for a domestic dispute. A 53-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order.
• Officers were dispatched to a domestic situation in the 300 block of East Euclid Avenue. A 21-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
• Officer Morse conducted a traffic stop near East Franklin Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Drive. The 32-year-old male driver was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officer Panther responded to the 100 block of Armory Court for a disorderly subject. A 51-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding warrants.
• Officer Allison conducted a property security check in the 100 block of West North Street.

• Officer Goings was dispatched to East Michigan Avenue and North East Avenue for a personal welfare check. A 43-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
• Officers visited multiple schools during the day.
• Officer Mills conducted a traffic stop in the area of South Elm Avenue and East Michigan Avenue. A 36-year-old male was arrested for parole violation.
• Officer Mills responded to the 200 block of West Michigan Avenue for a disorderly subject. A 60-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
• Officer Schram was dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 200 block of West Mason Street. A 67-year-old male was arrested for violation of a personal protection order.

• Officer Goble responded to the 1200 block of Pringle Avenue for a domestic situation. Officers were unable to locate the 22-year-old male suspect.
• Officers were dispatched to the 1400 block of North Wisner Street for subjects shoplifting. Charges will be sought on a 38-year-old male and a 48-year-old male for possession of narcotics and retail fraud.
• Officer Bean and Officer Kuhn conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
• Officer Jones responded to the 1900 block of East Ganson Street for a property security check. A 47-year-old male was arrested on multiple outstanding felony warrants. Charges will also be sought on the male for possession of narcotics.
• Officer Schram was dispatched to the 300 block of West Prospect Street for a personal welfare check on a subject in a vehicle. A 26-year-old male was arrested for driving while intoxicated.
• Officers responded to the 1100 block of Martin Street for shots fired. A residence was struck, and casings were located in the area.
• Officers were dispatched to an overdose in the 500 block of South Jackson Street. A 55-year-old male was transported to the hospital.
• Officers are investigating a hit and run accident that occurred in the 100 block of East Washington Avenue.  A 25 and 24-year-old female were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
• Officer Brooks responded to the 100 block of Moore Street for a stolen vehicle report. The vehicle was entered into the national database as stolen.
• Officers were dispatched to the 500 block of First Street for an assault. Felonious assault charges will be sought on a 41-year-old male.

• The vehicle reported stolen from the 100 block of Moore Street on December 23^rd was recovered.
• Officers responded to the 1700 block of First Street for disorderly subjects. Charges will be sought on a 61-year-old male for possession of open intoxicants.

• Officer Debczak was dispatched to the 400 block of South Blackstone Street for a larceny report.
• Officer Brooker located a vehicle reported stolen out of Cheboygan in the 200 block of Steward Avenue. The vehicle was impounded at the owner’s request.
• Officer Simon responded to the 1500 block of Locust Street for a domestic dispute. A 35-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
• Officer Schram and Officer Reynaga were dispatched to the 100 block of West Mansion Street for a property security check. A 45-year-old male was arrested for carrying a concealed weapon; possession of a stolen firearm; and felon in possession of a firearm.
• Officer Reasoner responded to the 900 block of South Milwaukee Street for shots fired. A vehicle in the area was struck, and casings were located.
• Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Orange Street for a hit and run accident. Hours after the accident, the suspect vehicle was reported stolen. The investigation is ongoing.
