High Surf Warning in effect for Santa Cruz County Thursday-Friday. 
National Weather Service has issued a High Surf Warning for Santa Cruz County from 3 am Thursday, Dec 28 through 3 am Friday, Dec 29. Very high swell from the WNW will create hazardous beach conditions with breaking waves of 25-30 feet are expected. Never turn your back to the ocean!
Please avoid all low-lying coastal regions until the warning is lifted.
