***Update: As of 8:15 p.m. the business and parking lot was determined safe by the Dane County Bomb Squad Technicians. A Nixle release with more details will be released once the investigation is completed.

The Janesville Police Department received information regarding a possible bomb threat at Blain’s Farm & Fleet located at 2421 Humes Road. We are taking every necessary precaution regarding the matter and are in the process of evacuating the business for safety precautions. This will include the inside of the business and the vehicles parked in the parking lot.
 
Officers are actively working to assess the information and credibility of the threat. We ask for your understanding and cooperation as you may encounter an increased presence of first responders in the area. We will do our best to provide updates as new information becomes available.
