Reminder- No fireworks 
As New Year’s Eve approaches, please remember that consumer fireworks are NOT allowed on Bainbridge Island. The City Council approved a ban on the sale, possession and use of consumer fireworks in 2019 in response to concerns related to wildfire risk, noise, safety and environmental impacts. Even though fireworks are available for sale near Bainbridge Island, they are still illegal to possess or use on Bainbridge Island.

The Bainbridge Island Police Department reminds you that consumer fireworks are banned on Bainbridge Island. We wish you a safe and Happy New Years holiday and ask you to join us in protecting our island community by following the fireworks ban.
