Flood Warning until 07:45AM Thursday

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northern New Jersey, including the following counties, in central New Jersey, Mercer and Monmouth. In northern New Jersey, Middlesex, Morris, Somerset and Sussex.

* WHEN...Until 745 AM EST.

* IMPACTS...Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 148 AM EST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that may experience flooding include... New Brunswick, Perth Amboy, Morristown, Somerville, Newton, Montague, Somerset, Edison, Old Bridge, East Brunswick, South Brunswick and Sayreville. - This includes the following highways... New Jersey Turnpike between exits 8A and 13. Interstate 287 in New Jersey between mile markers 0 and 15...and between mile markers 29 and 52. Interstate 78 in New Jersey between mile markers 35 and 42. Interstate 195 in New Jersey between mile markers 8 and 16. Interstate 80 in New Jersey between mile markers 23 and 47.
