Please be advised that as a state park, personal fireworks are strictly prohibited on Jekyll Island, including in any public spaces or private homes.
This includes all types of consumer fireworks discharged in any public spaces or private homes. All ignitable fireworks are illegal, including sparklers. Commercial firework permits are available to licensed fireworks companies and must be obtained from the Jekyll Island Authority in advance.

Hotels, rental companies, and residents with rental properties should notify any guests of this ordinance.
