INCIDENT: Catalytic Converter Thefts
LOCATION: Various locations in Rancho Cucamonga, Ca
SUSPECT(S): Rodolfo Zuniga, 37-years-old, resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: Between October 7, 2023, and October 10, 2023, an unknown suspect was involved in multiple thefts of catalytic converters in Rancho Cucamonga.
During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as Rodolfo Zuniga and connected him to multiple catalytic converter thefts in Rancho Cucamonga.
On December 28, 2023, detectives located and arrested Zuniga in Redlands, California. During a search of Zuniga’s vehicle, items were found that were indicative of Zuniga’s involvement in catalytic converter thefts. Zuniga was booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC487(a) - Grand Theft.
