INCIDENT: Burglary
LOCATION: Multiple locations in Joshua Tree and Landers
SUSPECT(S): Brandon Michael Doering, 33-year-old male resident of Joshua Tree
VICTIM(S): Multiple victims
SUMMARY: Detective Lopez from the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department assigned to Morongo Basin Sheriff's Station Detective's Bureau investigated several burglaries that occurred in Joshua Tree and Landers between October 28, 2023 to November 29, 2023.
During his investigation, Lopez learned Brandon Michael Doering, who was on felony probation for PC 459 (Burglary), burglarized and orchestrated burglaries of several properties while he was on GPS tracking through the San Bernardino County Probation Department.
On Thursday, Decebmer 21, 2023, at approximately 5:12 p.m., Detective Lopez placed Doering under arrest for muliple burglaries and conspiracy to commit a crime. Doering was booked into Morongo Basin Jail and is being held at the Central Detention Center with no bail.
On Wednesday, December 27, 2023, deputies and detectives assigned to the Morongo Basin Station served a search warrant at Doering's residence in Joshua Tree. During the search warrant, investigators located stolen property and Doering was connected to a fourth unreported burlgary.
