* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of central and northern California, including the following counties, in central California, Monterey and San Benito. In northern California, Santa Clara and Santa Cruz.

* WHEN...Until 1215 AM PST.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 840 PM PST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. Between 0.3 and 0.5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.2 to 0.6 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Salinas, Watsonville, Seaside, Monterey, Marina, Jamesburg, Tassajara Hot Springs, Arroyo Seco, Corralitos, Soledad, Greenfield, Gonzales, Carmel Valley Village, Chualar, Spreckels, Boronda, San Clemente Dam, Cachagua Near The Los Padres Dam, Prunedale and Castroville. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
